Tetraploid Anne selected this extraordinary daylily to name after her mother who was a very strong and beautiful woman, and lived to the age of 98. This daylily has many of her fine characteristics. A. F. is an unusual deep rose with a glowing rose purple watermark and a fine white edge accenting each petal. A.F. has a triangular shape with great substance and veining (extraordinary presence in the garden). One of its strongest attributes is it’s extreme colour fastness under all conditions and it looks as good at the end of the day as it did in the morning (Extended bloom). A.F. has 3 to 4 way branching with 16 to 23 buds which gives it a long bloom period. It is fragrant, beautifully veined and pod & pollen fertile . Magic Amethyst (P.
