On Russell Daylily Catalog

Fame

Tetraploid TET (J.T. Davis x Belle Cook), dormant. 6” flower, 4-way branching. 24 buds on a 26” scape. FAME is a flower truly set apart from most daylilies. Although it is dormant, it is a great performer as far south as Central Florida, and performs beautifully in the north as well. This intense, unusual dark carmine-rose flower has perfect form with a large chartreuse eye zone and ruffled edge. This plant is producing beautiful more unusually-colored progeny than we have seen in the past with most ruffle-edged daylilies. Fertile both ways.
